1. Mục tiêu đào tạo/ Course Objective

1. Hiểu và có thể thảo luận về
khái niệm quyền con người ở nhiều khía cạnh
2. Xem xét có luận điểm các
tranh luận về tư tưởng, lịch sử và
khái niệm về quyền con người
3. Thảo luận về sự phát triển
hiện đại về quyền con người
4. Có khả năng lồng ghép khái
niệm về quyền con người trong
công việc

1. to provide students with clear understanding of
political and legal philosophy as conceptual
basis of human rights as well as their histoprical evolution and current developments;
2. to equip students with conceptual and
normative tools to critically analyze human
rights situations in their own country and to be
able to apply human rights in pratical and
empirical analysis;
3. to encourage students to discuss openly the
current debates on the concepts of human
rights ;
4. to facilitate students to explore human rights
conceptual challenges.

2. Nội dung/ Course content

Học phần này trang bị cho học
viên những kiến thức chủ yếu
sau: những thuật ngữ, khái niệm,
những vấn đề lý luận cơ bản và
hiện đại về quyền con người;
những tôn giáo và triết lý tiêu
biểu về quyền con người và ảnh
hưởng của chúng đến các sự phát
triển pháp lý ở các cấp độ quốc
tế, khu vực và quốc gia. Sự phát
triển của tư tưởng về quyền con
người của nhân loại trong lịch sử
nhà nước và pháp luật thế giới.

This course provides an introduction to the
philosophy, history and politics of human rights. It
presents key features of the historical evolution of
human rights, and examines different philosophical
positions and debates on the justification and
legitimacy of moden human rights. It also
addresses human rights in social and political
contexts and explores political responses to the
normative and political human rights framework at
national, regional and international levels.
Students will examine human rights in different
cultures and traditions, address human rights in
international relations and discuss comparative
approaches to human rights across countries and
regimes with a particular focus on Asia
