|
International Human Rights Law is a branch of Public International Law. The course provides students with an overview of the relationship of International Human Rights Law with Public International Law and its other branches such as International Humanitarian Law and International Criminal Law. The course further provides for an introduction to the concept and history of these branches and highlights the commonalities and differences between them and International Human Rights Law. In addition the course analyzes the relevance of International Human Rights Law in the context the activities of transnational corporations, of the fight against terrorism and in conflict situations. |
